This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of central...east
central...south central and southeast Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Moderate to heavy wind driven snow will continue across the
central mountain through late this evening. The heaviest snow
along with the strongest winds will occur this morning. Snowfall
amounts of 8 to 16 inches will be likely, with the heaviest snow
occurring on the northwest slopes of the mountains in Lake County.
Travel across the mountain passes in Lake and Chaffee counties
will be difficult, especially this morning.

Strong west winds will continue this morning across the higher
terrain and east facing slopes of the southeast mountains. Some
localized wind gusts of 55 to 65 mph will be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Addition snow showers will be possible Wednesday and Thursday in
the central mountains. A few inches of wind driven snow will be
possible.

Weather conditions that meet reporting criteria for spotters will
be possible over portions of the region.
