A warming trend returns this weekend. High temperatures today will
be similar to a few degrees warmer than yesterday, then another few
degrees warmer on Sunday. Both today and tomorrow, minimum RH values
will be between 15 and 20 percent in the valleys and 20 to 30
percent in the mountains, with good to excellent overnight
recoveries. Winds will be primarily out of the northwest 10 to 15
mph through the rest of the afternoon, becoming light downslope-
downvalley overnight, then increasing again to 10 to 15 mph out of
the northwest early Sunday afternoon.

recoveries. Winds will be primarily out of the north or northeast 8
to 12 mph through the rest of the afternoon, becoming light and
variable overnight, with light winds generally continuing through
Sunday.

Across southwest WY (Zones 277, 278, 279, and 289), fire weather
conditions remain elevated to near critical, with minimum RHs around
8 to 12 percent, however, winds will be lighter today, with gusts 20
to 25 mph. Further improvement is expected Sunday with RHs around 15
percent and lighter winds. Across the northern zones (280, 281, 285,
and 300), north winds this afternoon diminish towards sunset, with
warmer temperatures and RHs 15 to 20 percent with good to excellent
recoveries. The warming trend will continue Sunday. Sunday
afternoon, there is a 20 percent chance of showers and isolated
thunderstorms across 280 and 281, with gusty outflow winds being the
main threat.
