.DISCUSSION...
There will be light snow chances around all day, today. Showers will
be spotty, so difficult to pinpoint if one will pass over or not.
Overall, hourly chances will be 15 to 30 percent through about
1500L. If a shower does occur, snow accumulations will be light,
maybe up to half an inch. As a front passes through, there will be a
better chance (about 80 percent) for heavier snow showers between
1500L and 2000L. If these snow showers do occur, most likely
estimate would be for at least 0.5 inches (85 percent chance),
though could be around 1.5 inches (70 percent chance), with about a
30 percent chance for over 2 inches. Though the timing is from 1500L
to 2000L, it will likely occur in about an hour or two, as the range
represents the uncertainty with the front passing. Snow chances drop
to 0 percent by 2200L, after the front passes through, with skies
beginning to clear.
For Tuesday, no precipitation is expected, with generally light
westerly winds. A few gusts 10 to 15 mph are possible between 1200L
and 1700L. High temperatures will also be around 10 degrees colder
compared to Monday.
