.SYNOPSIS...
A strong atmospheric system will continue to bring periods of
heavy rain and gusty winds to western Washington through
Wednesday. Widespread significant river flooding is underway
and will continue through the week. Minor coastal flooding due
to astronomical high tides will also pose concerns for the
northern Salish Sea coastlines through much of the week. Wet and
unsettled conditions will continue into early next week.

.IMPACTS...Stormy weather will create difficult backcountry
skiing and mountaineering conditions across much of the alpine
terrain of Mt. Rainier, including the Muir snowfield. Blizzard-
like conditions with strong winds and near zero visibility are
likely. A high level of skill and experience in alpine terrain,
including use of GPS, is recommended for navigation and camping in
these conditions.

.TUESDAY...Mostly cloudy. Patchy dense fog in the morning. Areas
of freezing fog in the afternoon. A chance of rain and snow
through the day. Snow level near 3500 feet increasing to
6000 feet in the afternoon.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Breezy. Rain and snow. Areas of fog after
midnight. Rain may be heavy at times. Little or no snow
accumulation near Paradise. Snow level near 9000 feet.
.WEDNESDAY...Breezy. Rain and snow. Areas of fog in the morning.
Widespread dense fog in the afternoon. Rain may be heavy at
times. No snow accumulation near Paradise. Snow level near
9000 feet.
.WEDNESDAY NIGHT...Breezy. Rain and snow. Widespread dense fog in
the evening. Patchy fog after midnight. Rain may be heavy at
times. Snow level near 8500 feet.
.THURSDAY...Rain and snow. Snow level near 7000 feet.
