The National Weather Service in Springfield has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southwestern Hickory County in central Missouri...
  Cedar County in southwestern Missouri...
  Polk County in southwestern Missouri...
  Southern St. Clair County in west central Missouri...
  Southeastern Vernon County in west central Missouri...

* Until 1230 PM CDT.

* At 1053 AM CDT, Emergency management, law enforcement, and MODOT
  reported flash flooding across the warned area. Between 3 and 6
  inches of rain have fallen.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

  SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Bolivar, El Dorado Springs, Stockton, Humansville, Fair Play,
  Weaubleau, Pittsburg, Polk, Montevallo, Jerico Springs, Halfway,
  Collins, Flemington, Roscoe, Aldrich, Vista, Umber View Heights,
  Gerster, Arnica, Bearcreek, Dunnegan, Caplinger Mills, Masters,
  Cane Hill, Cedar Springs, Wagoner, Filley, Elkton, Tiffin,
  Olympia, Goodson, Stockton Lake, Pomme de Terre Lake, Truman Lake
  and Stockton State Park.

This includes the following low water crossings...
  Weaubleau Creek at 350 Road, Deer Creek at Highway YY, Ingalls
  Creek at Highway HH, Bear Creek at 60th Road, Clear Creek at Rebel
  Road, Weaubleau Creek at Highway V and Brush Creek at 1200 Road.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Many flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
