...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM CST MONDAY THROUGH MONDAY
EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.
* WHERE...Portions of southwest Arkansas, including the following
counties, Hempstead, Howard, Lafayette, Little River, Miller,
Nevada and Sevier, southeast Oklahoma, including the following
county, McCurtain, and northeast Texas, including the following
counties, Bowie, Camp, Cass, Franklin, Morris, Red River and Titus.
* WHEN...From 6 AM CST Monday through Monday evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains
and ditches may become clogged with debris.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Excessive, heavy rainfall of near 1-3 inches with isolated
higher amounts will be possible during the day Monday through
Monday Evening.
