...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TODAY...
* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
expected.
* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
counties, Concho, McCulloch, Menard, Schleicher and Tom Green.
* WHEN...Until noon CST.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 845 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between
1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Eden, Millersview, Doole, Live Oak, The Intersection Of Us-83
And Ranch Road 765, The Intersection Of Us-87 And Ranch Road
2134 and Adams.
- This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
County Road 3053 crossing Brady Creek, County Road 4131
crossing Maverick Creek, County Road 2019 crossing Brady
Creek, County Road 2304 crossing Fitzgerald Creek, crossings
along County Road 4508 and County Road 3120 crossing Harden

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
