...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
  county, San Saba.

* WHEN...Until 1245 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1049 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 1.5 and 2.75 inches of rain have fallen in
    the last 3 hours.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    San Saba, Algerita, Cherokee, Chappel, Sloan, Bend,
    Harkeyville and Us-190 Near The San Saba-Lampasas County
    Line.
  - This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
    FM 1030 crossing Wallace Creek, CR 340 crossing Dry Creek, CR
    424 crossing Rough Creek, CR 340 crossing San Saba River,
    County Road 343 crossing Cherokee Creek, County Road 432
    crossing Cherokee Creek and CR 208 crossing San Saba River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
