The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  West Central Bay County in the panhandle of Florida...

* Until 900 PM CDT.

* At 717 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported thunderstorms
  producing heavy rain across the warned area. Flash flooding is
  already occurring. Numerous roads on the east end of Panama City
  Beach were reported underwater.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

  SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Panama City Beach, Tyndall Air Force Base, West Panama City,
  Edgewater Gulf Beach, Gulf Lagoon Beach, Bahama Beach, Bid-a-Wee,
  Biltmore Beach, Magnolia Beach, St Andrews State Park and Gulf
  Resort Beach.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
