289 FNUS55 KTFX 150759 FWFTFX Fire Weather Planning Forecast for North-Central Montana National Weather Service Great Falls MT 159 AM MDT Sat Jun 15 2024 .DISCUSSION... Unsettled conditions are expected across the Northern Rockies through the weekend and early next week, with scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms expected through the day today, especially across Fire Weather Zones 113, 115, and 117. Winds will begin to increase this afternoon, becoming especially strong and gusty overnight and through the morning hours on Sunday across zones 112 and 114. Poor moisture recovery is expected tonight across all zone thanks to these strong and gusty downsloping winds. A strong storm will then bring widespread lower elevation rain and mountain snow from Sunday night through Tuesday, with the heaviest precipitation falling across zones 114, 115, 116, 117, and 118. - Moldan MTZ112-152215- Eastern Glacier/Toole/Central/Eastern Pondera/Liberty- 159 AM MDT Sat Jun 15 2024 .TODAY... * Sky/Weather...........Partly sunny.
