...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 615 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN RENO COUNTY...

At 536 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Turon, or near
Neola, moving northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 70 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
         considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
         mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

Locations impacted include...
Hutchinson, South Hutchinson, Arlington, Turon, Partridge, Sylvia,
Plevna, Abbyville, and Langdon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for south central
and central Kansas.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
