National Weather Service Twin Cities/Chanhassen MN
410 AM CST Wed Feb 21 2018

A cold but sunny day is in store statewide today with arctic high
pressure moving eastward across the state. Highs will only range
from 10 to 20 degrees.

Clouds increase from the south tonight through tomorrow ahead of an
approaching cold front as high pressure shifts off to the Great
Lakes. Snow will develop over southern Minnesota Thursday afternoon
and spread north to envelop much of the state Thursday night into
Friday morning with light accumulations likely. Lows will drop to
between 10 below zero and 10 above zero followed by highs on
Thursday in the 20s.

After a brief respite from the snow on Friday, another weak system
will drift through the region over the weekend, again likely
bringing light snow accumulations. Highs Friday through the weekend
will run from the lower 20s to the lower 30s.
