The National Weather Service in Austin San Antonio has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Comal County in south central Texas...

* Until 515 PM CDT

* At 209 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
  thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the central and southern
  part of Bexar County. Up to three inches of rain have already
  fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Canyon Lake, Bulverde, Spring Branch, Smithson Valley and

Additional rainfall amounts of two inches are possible in the
already affected areas.


Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
