The National Weather Service in The San Francisco Bay Area has issued

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southeastern San Mateo County in northern California...

* Until 115 AM PST

* At 1012 PM PST, the stream gauge report on Pescadero Creek at
  Pescadero indicated Flash flooding is already occurring. A peak
  stage level of 15.78 feet occurred at 9:45 pm. Levels are now
  starting to decline but will remain above flood stage for the next
  several hours.

* Flash flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern
  San Mateo County.


Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.
