A river flood warning remains in effect for the Cypress Creek...East Fork San
Jacinto...Peach Creek...San Jacinto River...West Fork San Jacinto.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons are urged to stay away from the river until water levels recede.

Motorists should avoid any water covered roads and find an alternate route.

Livestock and equipment should remain out of the flood plain for the next few
days.



Stay tuned to NOAA Weather radio or other news sources for further updates.

* Flood stage is 115.8 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by early tomorrow morning and crest near 116.3
  feet by Noon. The river will then gradually fall to below flood stage by Friday
  morning.
* At 116.8 feet...Moderate lowland flooding begins.

  The West Fork San Jacinto Near Porter
* until further notice...or until the warning is canceled.
* At 0915 PM Wednesday the stage was 29.4 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to crest near 30.9 feet by late Friday
  morning and will remain above major flood levels for the next few days.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The West Fork San Jacinto In Humble
* until Monday evening...or until the warning is canceled.
* At 0945 PM Wednesday the stage was 52.3 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 49.3 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 52.8 feet by Friday morning and
  remain above major flood levels over the weekend. The river will fall below
  flood stage late Monday morning.
* At 52.3 feet...Major lowland flooding begins as homes on Lake Lane West and
  Southshore Drive in the Belleau Woods subdivision begin flooding. Roads into
  the Treasure Cove subdivision are inundated and homes along Aqua Vista Drive
  threatened. Water is in many home on Lake Point Drive in the Northshore
  subdivision.

* from Thursday evening to Monday afternoon...or until the warning is canceled.
* At 0920 PM Wednesday the stage was 9.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tomorrow late evening and continue to
  rise to near 11.3 feet by Saturday evening. The river will fall below flood
  stage by early Monday morning.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 16.3 feet by tomorrow
  afternoon and fall below flood stage by Friday afternoon.
* At 16.0 feet...Moderate lowland begins as minor roads near the creek become
  innundated.
