FLOOD STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA, CA
1031 AM PST TUE FEB 21 2017

...The flood warning is cancelled for the following rivers in
California...
Carmel River at Robles Del Rio

...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in
California..
  Coyote Creek near Edenvale

.Lingering showers and possibility of thunderstorms remains today, but the heavy rain has largely ended across the greater Bay Area. The flood wave on the Carmel River has worked its way down through the watershed and gages from Carmel Valley west to the ocean indicate falling water levels. Except for isolated ponding from flood flows overnight, flood levels are no longer being exceeded on the Carmel River.

In the South Bay, releases from Anderson Reservoir remain elevated and the Madrone stream gage immediately downstream is showing cresting in its hydrograph. Passage of the flood waves is expected to occur throughout the day today, with levels dropping back down below flood stage at the Edenvale location sometime in the overnight hours.
