The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
  Stone County in southeastern Mississippi...

* Until 930 PM CDT

* At 333 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rainfall had
  come to an end across much of Stone county. While the immediate
  threat of flash flooding has ended, many areas in Stone county
  remain inundated from the earlier heavy rains across the county.
  Doppler radar estimates that widespread rainfall amounts of 4 to 8
  inches have occurred today, with isolated amounts of 9 to 12
  inches in far northwestern portions of the county. Stone county
  emergency management reports that several roads and bridges remain
  closed due to the earlier heavy rains. General inundation flooding
  of farm and low lying areas will continue through this evening.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Wiggins, Perkinston and McHenry.


Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
