This hazardous weather outlook is for northwest...north central and
west central Missouri...as well as extreme eastern Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Widespread showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop late
morning into the afternoon today. The initial storms that form up in
the late morning have a low chance of severe weather, but a few
strong to severe storms are possible along and west of the Kansas
and Missouri border in the afternoon. Large hail up to 1 inch and
wind gusts up to 60 mph are possible with these storms. The tornado
threat is low at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are expected throughout
Saturday with the severe threat being relatively low at this time.
Another round of rain and thunderstorms are expected Monday and
Wednesday night into Thursday, but not severe weather is expected at
this time. Depending on the amount of precipitation from the first
two systems flash flooding may be a threat Thursday if the ground
becomes saturated enough.
