Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley

Rain showers moved across the region during the overnight hours.
Many locations received around 1/10 inch of rainfall or more. Quite
the difference in temperatures across the region early this morning
with readings ranging from the upper 20s to lower 30s over central
Minnesota to the mid 60s over portions of far southern Wisconsin.
Where temperatures were in the upper 20s to lower 30s, a light
wintry mix of precipitation was seen.

While today wont be a complete washout, plan on periods of rain
showers and even some light drizzle at times.  Plan on cloudy skies
with highs ranging from the mid 30s over central Minnesota to the
mid 60s over far southern Wisconsin.

Periods of rain showers and perhaps a light wintry mix is possible
across the region tonight. Most of the wintry mix concerns will be
across far northern Wisconsin. Plan on lows tonight ranging from the
upper 20s to lower 30s over northern Wisconsin to the mid 30s across
northeast Iowa.
