Regional Weather Summary for Western Kansas

1058 AM CDT THU SEP 29 2016 /958 AM MDT THU SEP 29 2016/

Skies were clear once again across western Kansas last night and
into the morning. Winds were light out of the northeast at around
5-10 mph and lows fell into the upper 30s and lower 40s.

A strong upper level disturbance will persist across the Midwest
as high pressure strengthens across western Kansas. Dry and quiet
weather is expected today with winds out of the southeast this
afternoon at around 5-15 mph.

Highs today will only reach into the upper 60s and lower 70s
across the Central Plains. Lows tonight will range from the low to
mid 40s in northwestern Kansas to the mid to upper 40s across the
rest of the state.
