The next storm system will impact the area tonight through Wednesday
morning. Precipitation is expected to begin late tonight in the form
of drizzle or freezing drizzle. Rain and snow will be possible
throughout the day with breaks at times. Snow is expected to develop
through the afternoon hours and impact the region overnight. Snow
accumulations are generally 1 to 4 inches north of Interstate 80 in
Nebraska. Some locations may see some higher amounts. Northwesterly
winds will be windy with sustained speeds of 15 to 30 mph and gusts
to near 40 mph by Tuesday afternoon/evening.
