Today...Cold, Arctic Air enveloped all of Western and North Central
Nebraska. With high temperatures only in the teens to low 20s,
Wednesday, December seventh 2016 was the coldest day since
January of 2016. High temperatures were generally 20 degrees below
normal for the first week of December. In addition to the cold
temperatures, breezy northwest winds helped to produce wind chills
as low as the teens below zero across portions of the region

Tonight...Bitterly cold temperatures in the double digits to
single digits below zero will be experienced across the region.
These cold temperatures, when combined with northwest winds of 10
to 20 miles per hour, will create wind chill values as low as 15
to 25 degrees below zero.
