TEMPERATURES REMAINED UNSEASONABLY HOT TODAY. WHILE THE STATE HIGH
WAS 102 IN MCCOOK...VALENTINE AGAIN SAW TRIPLE DIGIT HEAT. SOME
RELIEF CAME THIS AFTERNOON IN THE FORM OF SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS.

TONIGHT THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO LIFT NORTH OVERNIGHT
BRINGING GENERALLY LIGHT RAINFALL AMOUNTS...ALTHOUGH LOCALLY
HIGHER AMOUNTS TO AN INCH MAY OCCUR WITH STRONGER STORMS.
TEMPERATURES WILL DROP INTO THE 60S...WITH COOLER 50S WEST INTO
THE EASTERN PANHANDLE.
