PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES PREVAILED OVERNIGHT AND EARLY THIS MORNING
ACROSS THE LOCAL ISLANDS. THE DOPPLER WEATHER RADAR DETECTED
ISOLATED TO SCATTERED SHOWERS ACROSS EASTERN SECTIONS OF PUERTO
RICO AND ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS. WINDS WERE VERY LIGHT AND
VARIABLE AND TEMPERATURES WERE IN THE 70S TO AROUND 80S.

A LOW LEVEL TROUGH WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS THE REGION TODAY.
THIS FEATURE IS EXPECTED TO PRODUCE ISOLATED TO SCATTERED PASSING
SHOWERS ACROSS VIEQUES...CULEBRA AND EASTERN PUERTO RICO DURING
THE REST OF THE MORNING HOURS. THIS MOISTURE IS EXPECTED TO
COMBINE WITH DAYTIME HEATING AND LOCAL EFFECTS TO PRODUCE
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS OVER AND WEST OF
CORDILLERA CENTRAL THIS AFTERNOON. THIS ACTIVITY WILL BE ENHANCE
BY AN UPPER LEVEL LOW NORTHWEST OF THE REGION.

ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS...TRANQUIL MARINE CONDITIONS ARE
EXPECTED TO PREVAIL THROUGH THE UPCOMING WEEKEND...WITH SEAS
UP TO 3 FEET AND EASTERLY WINDS AT 15 KNOTS OR LESS.
