Weather Summary for Puerto Rico

Hazy skies with no shower activity prevailed across the islands
overnight. Low temperatures were between the mid 70s and low 80s
across the coastal sections and in the low 60s across the mountain

A drier air mass is expected during the next few days as an upper
level ridge builds across the region. A more seasonal pattern is
expected with trade wind showers affecting the eastern portions of
Puerto Rico in the morning hours and showers and isolated
thunderstorms developing along the interior and western portions of
Puerto Rico during the afternoon. High temperatures will range in
the high 80s to low 90s.

Across the local waters...mariners choppy seas with seas up to 7
feet and winds of 15 to 25 knots over the waters and local
passages. Small Craft Advisories are in effect. A high rip
current risk is in effect for Vieques and southern coasts of
Puerto Rico.
