Partly cloudy skies prevailed across Vieques, Culebra and the
eastern half of Puerto Rico this afternoon, while variable cloudy
skies prevailed across western sections of Puerto Rico. Terminal
Doppler radar indicated scattered showers and a few thunderstorms
across western sections of Puerto Rico, but not significant
precipitation was observed elsewhere across the local islands so
far this afternoon. Maximum temperatures ranged from the upper 70s
to lower 80s in the mountains to mid to upper 80s in lower
elevations. Winds were mainly eastward at 10 to 15 mph.

Shower activity across western Puerto Rico is expected to
dissipates late this afternoon. For tonight, clear to partly
cloudy skies are expected. Some passing showers will affect the
eastern half of Puerto Rico as well as Vieques and Culebra. For
Friday and Saturday a similar weather pattern is expected with
showers in the morning across windward areas followed by afternoon
showers and thunderstorms across west Puerto Rico, however
intensity and coverage will increase as a trough establishes north
of the area.

Mariners can expect seas up to 5 feet across the regional waters
and local passages with easterly winds around 15 knots. There is
a moderate risk of rip currents across most of the local beaches.
