...LINGERING SNOW OVERNIGHT...

AT 1245 AM CST...A BAND OF ENHANCED SNOW EXTENDED FROM FAIRFIELD
IOWA...TO THE QUAD CITIES...AND EAST TO PRINCETON ILLINOIS. THIS
BAND WILL CONTINUE TO GRADUALLY MOVE SOUTHWARD THROUGH THE EARLY
MORNING HOURS...AFFECTING LOCATIONS SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 80. ROADS
ARE SNOW COVERED AND SLICK AND A NORTH WIND IS CAUSING SOME MINOR
DRIFTING. VISIBILITIES WILL DROP DOWN TO 1/2 MILE AT TIMES IN THE
HIGHER INTENSITY SNOW. MANY LOCATIONS WILL PICK UP AN ADDITIONAL
INCH OF SNOW THROUGH 4 AM CST...WITH SOME 2 INCH AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.
THE SNOW WILL TAPER OFF TOWARD SUNRISE.
