...SNOW STICKING AT TAHOE AREA PASSES...

Heavy precipitation continues to fall around the Lake Tahoe
Basin, with snow levels fluctuating between from 6500 to 8000
feet. Some area passes have become snow covered, including Mount
Rose, Brockway, Spooner, and Kingsbury Summits. Additional snow
amounts of 6 to 10 inches are possible for elevations above 8000
feet, with several inches of snow down to 7000 feet.

Donner and Echo Summits are currently wet with no controls, but
its possible that we could see light snow accumulations up to a
couple inches later this afternoon.

If you have travel plans today or tonight to head over the passes
around Lake Tahoe, make sure to check for road conditions before
you leave and allow for extra time to reach your destinations.
