...Growing Season Ends For Much Of Central VA...

Widespread temperatures below freezing as of this morning, Tuesday
November 8th, has brought an end to the growing season for much of
Central Virginia and the piedmont. Warmer temperatures closer to the
larger rivers, Bay and ocean means the growing season continues
across eastern Virginia, lower maryland Eastern Shore and North

Frost Advisories and Freeze Warnings will no longer be issued for
the following this fall season...Amelia, Brunswick, Caroline,
Chesterfield, City of Richmond, City of Emporia, City of Franklin,
City of Colonial Heights, Cumberland, Dinwiddie, Fluvanna,
Goochland, Greensville, Hanover, Henrico, City of Hopewell, Louisa,
Lunenburg, Mecklenburg, Nottoway, Petersburg, Prince Edward, Prince
George, Powhatan and Sussex.
