This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Thunderstorms will be possible through this afternoon and tonight.
Some strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible this evening
across the southeast Texas Panhandle. Winds near 60 MPH and hail
near 1 inch in diameter will be the main threats. Freezing
temperatures are possible tonight across the northwest part of the
Combined Panhandles.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Winter precipitation is expected for much of the Combined
Panhandles from Saturday morning through Sunday morning.
Accumulating snow is expected is expected across the Oklahoma
Panhandle and the northwest Texas Panhandle.

Freezing temperatures are expected Saturday night and Sunday night
across the Oklahoma Panhandle and the western half of the Texas


Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time. Observers and
emergency management officials are requested to relay snow
reports to the National Weather Service in Amarillo.
