This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Texas and Oklahoma

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

An Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect for Palo Duro Canyon
until 9 PM this evening due to temperatures reaching 110 degrees
or higher. A Heat Advisory also remains in effect until 9 PM this
evening for most remaining areas on the Caprock, generally the
western two thirds of the area, where high temperatures are
expected to be in the 105 to 110 degree range.

Isolated thunderstorms may develop this evening across the
eastern Oklahoma Panhandle. Any storms that develop will have the
potential to become strong to marginally severe, with hail near
one inch in diameter and strong wind gusts to around 60 MPH.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Thunderstorms will be possible across the Oklahoma and Texas
Panhandles Tuesday through Wednesday night. The threat for
organized severe weather is low at this time.


Spotter activation is not anticipated at this time.
