THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA
PANHANDLES.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

LIGHT SNOW IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP THIS EVENING ACROSS THE NORTHWEST
PART OF THE COMBINED PANHANDLES...AND TO SPREAD EAST AND SOUTH ACROSS
THE NORTHERN HALF OF THE COMBINED PANHANDLES DURING THE NIGHT. A
WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY WILL BE IN EFFECT FOR THE WESTERN OKLAHOMA
PANHANDLE WHERE THE HIGHEST SNOWFALL TOTALS ARE EXPECTED.

BREEZY TO WINDY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS THE
SOUTHWESTERN AND SOUTHERN PORTION OF THE TEXAS PANHANDLE. SUSTAINED
WINDS HAS REACHED 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 55 MPH...WITH THOSE
WINDS EXPECTED TO OCCUR WITH FRONTAL PASSAGE IN THE SOUTHERN PORTION
OF THE TEXAS PANHANDLE UNTIL WINDS ALOFT DECOUPLE TONIGHT. A WIND
ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE WESTERN AND SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS
PANHANDLE THROUGH SUNSET.

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE PANHANDLES THIS
AFTERNOON. ANY STORMS THAT DEVELOP ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN BELOW
SEVERE LIMITS...ALTHOUGH BRIEF GUSTS OF 50 MPH OR MORE MAY OCCUR WITH
SOME OF THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.

SNOW IS EXPECTED ACROSS THE OKLAHOMA AND NORTHERN TEXAS PANHANDLE
TUESDAY. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE WESTERN
OKLAHOMA PANHANDLES WHERE THE HIGHEST SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS ARE
EXPECTED...BETWEEN 1 TO 3 INCHES. IN ADDITION...SOME BLOWING AND
DRIFTING SNOW MAY OCCUR IN THE OKLAHOMA PANHANDLE DUE TO STRONG
NORTH WINDS OF 20 TO 30 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS.
