...POTENTIAL FOR INCREASED FLOWS ON THE BRUNEAU AND JARBIDGE
RIVERS IN OWYHEE COUNTY...

RIVERS CREEKS AND STREAMS CONTINUE TO RUN STRONG ACROSS PARTS OF
OWYHEE COUNTY...PARTICULARLY IN THE BRUNEAU AND JARBIDGE RIVER
BASINS. ABOVE AVERAGE HIGH ELEVATION SNOWPACK REMAINS IN THESE
WATERSHEDS AND A WARMING TREND THIS WEEK WILL ACCELERATE SNOWMELT.

WATER LEVELS SHOULD BE MONITORED AS INCREASED RUNOFF MAY LEAD TO
FLOODING ISSUES ALONG SMALL RIVERS CREEKS AND STREAMS.

IF YOU HAVE PLANS TO UTILIZE BACKCOUNTRY ROADS NEAR THE NEVADA
BORDER IN OWYHEE COUNTY...BE AWARE THAT GRAVEL AND DIRT ROADS MAY
BE QUITE MUDDY OR IMPASSABLE AT TIMES.
