Kent-Ionia-Clinton-Allegan-Barry-Eaton-Van Buren-Kalamazoo-
Including the cities of Hart, Fremont, Big Rapids,
Mount Pleasant, Muskegon, Greenville, Alma, Grand Haven, Jenison,
Grand Rapids, Ionia, St. Johns, Holland, Hastings, Charlotte,
South Haven, and Kalamazoo

The Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of central Michigan, south central Michigan,
  southwest Michigan, and west central Michigan, including the
  following areas, in central Michigan, Gratiot, Isabella,
  Mecosta, and Montcalm. In south central Michigan, Clinton,
  Eaton, and Ionia. In southwest Michigan, Allegan, Barry,
  Kalamazoo, Kent, Ottawa, and Van Buren. In west central
  Michigan, Muskegon, Newaygo, and Oceana.

* Through Monday morning

* Periods of rain with embedded thunderstorms will continue into
  mid morning Monday. Storm total rainfalls of 2 to 4 inches are
  still expected. Locally higher amounts cannot be ruled out in
  near thunderstorms.

* Rainfall amounts through 3 am were in the range of a half inch
  to near an inch from Kent County south and west. Areas north and
  east of Grand Rapids have had between a quarter and a half inch.

* Heaviest rain will come in three waves, the first will be around
  sunrise Sunday, then another during the late morning into the
  early afternoon with the final and strongest storms this evening
  into early tonight as the front comes through.


A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
