...THE FLOOD ADVISORY FOR MINOR FLOODING OF POOR DRAINAGE AREAS
REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 PM EDT FOR NORTHWESTERN CHATHAM...NORTH
CENTRAL BRYAN AND SOUTH CENTRAL EFFINGHAM COUNTIES...

AT 638 PM...RADAR INDICATED MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN EXTENDING
FROM JUST OF BLOOMINGDALE TO ELLABELL. THE RAIN WAS DRIFTING
EAST SOUTHEAST AT 5 MPH. BETWEEN 2 AND 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAS
FALLEN ACROSS THE AREA OVER THE PAST HOUR. AN ADDITIONAL INCH
WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH 715 PM. MINOR FLOODING OF LOW LYING
AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS IS LIKELY.

LOCATIONS IN THE ADVISORY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
BLOOMINGDALE...EDEN...ELLABELL AND MELDRIM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

KEEP CHILDREN AWAY FROM DRAINAGE DITCHES...STORM SEWERS AND CREEKS.
EVEN A SMALL AMOUNT OF MOVING WATER HAS ENOUGH FORCE TO KNOCK DOWN
AND CARRY AWAY CHILDREN.
