The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Northeastern Grady County in central Oklahoma...
  Western Oklahoma County in central Oklahoma...
  Northwestern Cleveland County in central Oklahoma...
  Eastern Canadian County in central Oklahoma...
  Northwestern McClain County in central Oklahoma...

* Until midnight CST

* At 1002 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
  Up to two inches of rain have already fallen in the western part
  of El Reno.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Oklahoma City, southwestern Norman, western Edmond, Moore, Midwest
  City, Del City, El Reno, Newcastle, Yukon, Bethany, Mustang, Warr
  Acres, The Village, Noble, Tuttle, Piedmont, Nichols Hills,
  Goldsby, Union City and Valley Brook.

Additional rainfall of one to one and one-half inches is expected
over the area. This additional rain will make minor flooding.


Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots. Turn around, don`t
