.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Southerly winds will increase late tonight towards daybreak Tuesday,
especially over the higher elevations. Some gusts may exceed 45 MPH
and a Wind Advisory may be needed for parts of the region.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Gusty southerly winds are expected through the afternoon hours,
especially for the higher elevations. Winds may exceed 45 MPH and a
Wind Advisory may be needed.

An approaching frontal boundary will allow for showers and
thunderstorms on Tuesday, especially during the afternoon and evening
hours. There is a slight risk for severe thunderstorms. The main
threat with any thunderstorm will be damaging winds, although an
isolated tornado cannot be ruled out.

In addition, any thunderstorm will be capable of producing heavy
rainfall within a short period of time. Minor flooding of urban,
small stream and low lying areas is likely on Tuesday. Flash
flooding will be possible as well, especially in urbanized areas, and
a Flash Flood Watch may be needed for parts of the area.

Spotter activation will likely be needed on Tuesday.
