THROUGH 5 AM MST...SNOW...MODERATE AT TIMES...WILL CONTINUE ACROSS
NORTHERN SHERIDAN COUNTY AND NORTHERN CHERRY COUNTY. SNOWFALL
RATES OF 1/2 INCH PER HOUR WILL OCCUR IN A BAND OF SNOW FROM
CHADRON TO MERRIMAN. LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW WILL SPREAD INTO
VALENTINE. NORTH WINDS WILL INCREASE TO 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO
45 MPH AS AN ARCTIC FRONT MOVES INTO NORTHERN NEBRASKA. VISIBILITY
WILL FALL TO 1/2 MILE IN SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW. LIGHT SNOW WILL
SPREAD SLOWLY SOUTH THROUGH GARDEN COUNTY AND GRANT AND ARTHUR
COUNTIES PRODUCING A DUSTING OR LESS ACCUMULATION.

FARTHER SOUTH...FREEZING FOG...LIGHT FREEZING RAIN AND FREEZING
DRIZZLE CONTINUE FROM IMPERIAL NORTH TO OSHKOSH. A LIGHT ICE
ACCUMULATION IS POSSIBLE ON ROADWAYS AS SOME SURFACES MAY FALL
BELOW THE FREEZING MARK. AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH
EARLY THIS MORNING AND SWEEP THIS MOISTURE SOUTH INTO KANSAS.

ALL OF THIS WINTER WEATHER WAS ASSOCIATED WITH AN UPPER LEVEL
DISTURBANCE MOVING THROUGH THE NORTHERN PLAINS WHICH WILL USHER
IN MUCH COLDER ARCTIC AIR THIS MORNING. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY
IS IN EFFECT THIS MORNING FOR SHERIDAN...CHERRY...KEYA PAHA AND
BOYD COUNTIES.
