National Weather Service Eastern ND/Grand Forks
1137 AM CST Sat Dec 10 2016

The cold will continue with high temperatures today in the single
digits either side of zero. Above zero readings are expected along
and east of the Red River Valley while remaining below zero across
the west. Snow chances will increase late this afternoon and tonight
as a quick moving system slides south of the area. The heaviest
snowfall will be south of the area but a few inches of accumulation
is still expected. Around an inch or so of new snowfall is forecast
near the international border with increasing amounts as you head
southward near the South Dakota border where two to four inches are
possible.

Snowfall chances will quickly decrease from west to east on Sunday
with slightly warmer temperatures expected with readings in the
single digits above zero across the Devils Lake basin and into the
teens elsewhere.
