Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains

Mostly clear skies were observe across most of the Tri-State
area early this afternoon. At 1 PM MDT (2 PM CDT), winds were out
of the southeast at 10 to 15 mph with temperatures ranging from
83 degrees in Burlington, Colorado to 88 degrees in Norton,

OUTLOOK... Chance of thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.
There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms along and north
of a line form Wray, Colorado to Hill City, Kansas. Large hail
and damaging winds are possible. Temperatures will reach the
upper 80s to lower 90s this afternoon. Patchy fog may develop
after midnight. Lows will fall into the 60s as cloud cover
increases from the north.

Sunday, temperatures in the 90s are expected across the region.
Thunderstorms are possible once again in the afternoon through
the overnight hours.
