Overnight, the Central High Plains saw clear skies and
temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s areawide. At 4AM MDT, a
temperature of 64 degrees was observed at the National Weather
Service in Goodland, KS.

OUTLOOK... For today, the Central High Plains will see a chance of
showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Some storms
may be strong to severe with the biggest threats being damaging
winds and large hail. Temperatures will be hot with highs today in
the mid 90s to low 100s. Lows tonight will be mainly in the 60s.
Looking ahead, there will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms
Sunday afternoon and evening.
