Considerable high cloudiness covered the Tri-State area this
morning. Sunrise temperatures were above normal in the mid 40s to
mid 50s thanks in part to north and northeast winds gusting to 35
mph. A sunny to partly sunny sky was observed early this afternoon
with 2 PM MDT (3 PM CDT) temperatures in the low 50s to mid 60s
ranging from 54 degrees in Yuma Colorado to 66 degrees in Hill
City Kansas.

OUTLOOK... under a clear sky tonight low temperatures are expected
to drop into the upper 20s to upper 30s with northwest winds of 10
to 20 mph and occasionally gusty. On Tuesday northwest winds
quickly increase into the 25 to 35 mph range with gusts to 45 mph
by mid morning and continue through the day. High temperatures
slightly below normal in the upper 50s to low 60s. A brief warmup
is expected Wednesday with low to upper 70s across the area. A
return to fall like weather returns for the end of the week with
below normal temperatures. Windy conditions expected Thursday.
