A warm front approaches from the south today, then lifts to the
north tonight. Today, will be mainly cloudy, with some spotty light
rain possible in the afternoon. Highs today, will run around 15 to
20 degrees above normal, mainly in the lower to mid 50s except upper
50s to around 60 in the New York City Metro area. Tonight will see
some more widespread rain across the Tri-state, along with areas of
fog. Lows tonight will occur in the evening, with steady or slowly
rising temperatures overnight. Lows should be around 20 degrees
above normal.

Wednesday will be rather mild for this time of year, with near
record highs possible. Highs could be as warm as the lower 60s
across portions of northeast New Jersey, with mainly 60s elsewhere.
In addition, there is the chance of strong to possibly severe
thunderstorms Wednesday afternoon and evening ahead of a strong cold
front. The storms will come to an end as the cold front crosses the
area Wednesday night.

Thursday will be windy and noticeably cooler, but still a few
degrees above normal.
