...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON...

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP THIS AFTERNOON IN
RESPONSE TO INCREASED HEATING FROM SUNSHINE. SOME OF THE STORMS
MAY BECOME STRONG WITH GUSTY WINDS AND SMALL HAIL. BRIEFLY HEAVY
DOWNPOURS WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE. THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
WILL PERSIST INTO THE EARLY EVENING HOURS AND THEN DISSIPATE AS
DAYTIME HEATING IS LOST.

PEOPLE WHO ARE PLANNING TO BE OUTDOORS SHOULD REMAIN ALERT AND
WATCH FOR CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS. IF A STORM
APPROACHES...TAKE SHELTER INDOORS IMMEDIATELY.
