THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SALT LAKE CITY HAS CANCELLED THE
WINTER STORM WARNING FOR THE SOUTHERN MOUNTAINS OF UTAH.

ISOLATED SNOW SHOWERS THIS MORNING ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME MORE
NUMEROUS THIS AFTERNOON. HOWEVER ANY ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATION WILL
BE GENERALLY 2 INCHES OR LESS.

  THE WESTERN UINTAS.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...AN ADDITIONAL 8 TO 16 INCHES BY LATE THIS
  AFTERNOON.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL BECOME HEAVY ONCE AGAIN THIS MORNING AND WILL
  CONTINUE THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON BEFORE TURNING SHOWERY. SNOW
  SHOWERS WILL LINGER INTO THE EARLY EVENING BEFORE ENDING.

* IMPACTS...WINTER DRIVING CONDITIONS INCLUDING PERIODS OF SNOW
  PACKED ROADS AND GREATLY REDUCED VISIBILITY CAN BE EXPECTED ON
  AREA ROADWAYS TODAY. THIS INCLUDES THE COTTONWOOD CANYONS AS
  WELL AS I-80 OVER PARLEYS SUMMIT.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...1 TO 4 INCHES IN THE VALLEYS ALONG THE
  WASATCH FRONT...IN THE CACHE VALLEY AND THE WASATCH MOUNTAIN
  VALLEYS...WITH 3 TO 7 INCHES ALONG THE BENCHES.

* TIMING...SNOW THIS MORNING WILL BE TURNING SHOWERY AND TAPERING
  OFF AFTER NOON. THE HEAVIEST SNOW WILL BE NORTH OF ABOUT SALT
  LAKE CITY THROUGH SUNRISE THEN WILL SHIFT SOUTH THROUGH THE
  MORNING. THE SNOW WILL TURN SHOWERY AND TAPER OFF FROM NORTH TO
  SOUTH STARTING LATE THIS MORNING. SNOW COULD PERSIST INTO EARLY
  AFTERNOON ACROSS THE SOUTHERN WASATCH FRONT AND IN THE MOUNTAIN
  VALLEYS SOUTH OF I-80.

* IMPACTS...ACCUMULATING SNOW IS EXPECTED ON AREA ROADWAYS THIS
  MORNING WHICH WILL LIKELY IMPACT THE MORNING COMMUTE.
