...Minor flooding possible along The Kickapoo River and Trempealeau
River...

For the Kickapoo River the following locations are included: Viola
and Readstown. For the Trempealeau River the following location is
included: Dodge.

Recent heavy rainfall is resulting in rising water levels on area
rivers, streams, and creeks. The following locations are currently
forecast to rise to, or slightly above, minor flood stage. Continue
to monitor river forecasts closely and be alert for any flood
warnings that may be issued.

Kickapoo River at Viola...The stage this morning was 10.01 feet.
Flood stage is 14.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise above flood
stage Thursday, and reach 14.50 feet Thursday evening. This would
result in Minor flooding.

Kickapoo River at Readstown...The stage this evening was  9.76 feet.
Flood stage is 11.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise above flood
stage Thursday evening, and reach 11.20 feet Friday morning. This
would result in Minor flooding.

Trempealeau River at Dodge...The stage this evening was  7.96 feet.
Flood stage is 9.0 feet. The river is forecast to rise to 9.0 feet
Thursday evening. This would result in Minor flooding.
