..More Locally Heavy Rains Possible this Afternoon and Evening...
Localized Flooding Possible...

Locally heavy rains fell across parts of the area Friday night.
One of these was a band of 1 up to 3 inches of rain from north of
Rochester Minnesota to near Whitehall Wisconsin. Another was a
band of 2 up to 4 inches of rain from north of New Hampton Iowa to
near Lynxville Wisconsin. Water levels in rivers and streams have
risen to near bankfull at some locations in these areas.
Elsewhere, rain amounts of 1/3 to 3/4 of an inch were common
across the area Friday night.

Another round of stronger thunderstorms, capable of producing more
locally heavy rains, is expected to move across the area this
afternoon and evening. Where locally heavy rains from these
thunderstorms will fall remains uncertain, along with the threat
of flooding. However, if more heavy rains fall on the areas that
had heavy rain Friday night, there is a risk of flash flooding or
river flooding in those areas.

If you live near a river or stream, monitor the thunderstorm
forecast and water levels closely. If rivers and streams near you
start rising out of their banks be ready to move to higher
