The National Weather Service in La Crosse has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
  Southern Clark County in central Wisconsin...
  Central Jackson County in west central Wisconsin...

* Until 345 PM CST Tuesday

* At 350 AM CST, The operator at the Hatfield Dam reported an ice
  jam where the Black River flows into Lake Arbutus, near the
  Jackson/Clark county line. Water was reported over Rivera Drive
  near where it meets Bush Road, making the road impassable.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...areas just
  upstream of Lake Arbutus. The entire shore around Lake Arbutus and
  below the Hatfield Dam could experience flooding if the jam
  suddenly moves or releases.

High water continues to flow down the Black River upstream of Lake
Arbutus. As long as the ice jam remains in place, flooding will
continue or remain a risk around Lake Arbutus.


Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Stay away or be swept away. Ice jams are unstable and can release at
any time.
