A thick blanket of clouds covered much of Iowa and southern
Wisconsin early this morning. Elsewhere, patchy fog has developed,
becoming locally dense in some areas. Lows so far this morning
ranged from the mid 20s over northern Wisconsin, to the lower 40s
over northeast Iowa.

The fog will burn off quickly this morning, while clouds linger
across parts of Iowa and southern Wisconsin. To the north though,
sunshine will be prevalent. Highs today will range from the mid 40s
in far eastern Wisconsin, to around 60 in southwest Minnesota. Lows
tonight will range from the mid 20s over northern Wisconsin to near
40 in southwest Minnesota.

Looking ahead, clouds and rain move back in for Wednesday through
Thursday, with most of the precipitation falling from southern
sections of Minnesota and Wisconsin southward. Most will fall as
rain, but snow will mix in Wednesday night.
