Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley
National Weather Service La Crosse WI
450 AM CDT Sat Sep 24 2016

Skies remained cloudy overnight with temperatures early this morning
ranging from the middle 50s to the middle 60s.

There will be a slight chance of showers this morning mainly east of
the Mississippi River. Otherwise, skies are expected to remain
mostly cloudy through this morning with some partial sunshine for
this afternoon. Look for highs ranging from the upper 60s across
north central Wisconsin, to the middle and upper 70s along and west
of the Mississippi.

Showers and thunderstorms will then move into and across the area
tonight through Sunday as a cold front pushes through. Plan on lows
tonight in the upper 50s to the middle 60s and highs on Sunday in
the upper 60s to the lower 70s.

Flooding will continue to be a concern through Sunday as rivers are
still running high and soils are completely saturated from the
previous rainfall.
