WEATHER SUMMARY FOR UPPER MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LA CROSSE WI
1020 AM CST THU FEB 26 2015

DURING THE OVERNIGHT...HIGH PRESSURE IN CANADA PUSHED TOWARD THE
REGION BRINGING DECREASING CLOUDS AND COLD TEMPERATURES. THE MORNING
LOWS ACROSS THE AREA WERE MOSTLY IN THE SINGLE DIGITS ABOVE AND
BELOW ZERO...THOUGH READINGS ACROSS NORTHERN WISCONSIN DROPPED INTO
THE TEENS BELOW.

HIGH PRESSURE WILL REMAIN OUR MAIN WEATHER INFLUENCE INTO FRIDAY
WHICH WILL PRODUCE DRY WEATHER BUT KEEP OUR TEMPERATURES MUCH BELOW
NORMAL. HIGHS THIS AFTERNOON WILL RANGE MAINLY IN THE SINGLE DIGITS
WITH A FEW LOWER TEENS INTO SOUTHERN WISCONSIN. THEN OVERNIGHT
UNDER CLEAR SKIES AND LIGHT WIND WE CAN CAN EXPECT WIDESPREAD
READINGS IN THE 10 BELOW TO 20 BELOW RANGE. TEMPERATURES ON FRIDAY
WILL THEN RANGE FROM THE SINGLE DIGITS TO MID TEENS.

THE WEEKEND OUTLOOK...LOOK FOR TEMPERATURES TO MODERATE INTO THE
TEENS TO AROUND 20 FOR SATURDAY...AND THEN MID AND UPPER 20S FOR
SUNDAY. THERE WILL ALSO BE A CHANCE FOR SOME SNOW SATURDAY NIGHT
INTO SUNDAY...WITH THE BETTER CHANCES ACROSS IOWA AND THE SOUTHERN
HALF OF WISCONSIN.
