Weather Summary for Upper Mississippi River Valley

Although rainfall had ended during the morning hours across the
region, flooding continued for many locations into early afternoon.
Mid day temperatures were in the upper 70s to lower 80s region wide.

A cold front is forecast to produce scattered showers and storms as
it moves through the region this evening. A few of these storms may
be strong to severe with hail and damaging winds being the main
concerns. Highs will be in the lower and mid 80s this afternoon. Low
temperatures tonight will be in the 60s.

Sunday and Monday are expected to be dry as high pressure dominates.
Look for highs in the mid 70s to lower 80s and lows mainly in the
50s for both Sunday and Monday. Chances for showers and
thunderstorms will return on Tuesday.
