LIGHT RAIN MOVED INTO THE AREA TODAY AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT PUSHING
ACROSS MINNESOTA AND IOWA. TEMPERATURES REMAINED ON THE MILD
SIDE WITH HIGHS MAINLY IN THE 40S...WHICH WERE ONCE AGAIN AROUND 20
DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.

A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE EAST THROUGH THE AREA TONIGHT BRINGING MORE
LIGHT RAIN AND THEN A LITTLE LIGHT SNOW. THERE MAY BE A SHORT PERIOD
OF SLEET BEFORE THE PRECIPITATION CHANGES OVER TO SNOW. SNOWFALL
AMOUNTS IN OUR AREA WILL BE VERY LIGHT...RANGING FROM JUST A DUSTING
TO A FEW TENTHS BY THE TIME IT ENDS ON TUESDAY.  THE HIGHER SNOWFALL
AMOUNTS...OF 1 TO 4 INCHES...ALONG WITH SOME FREEZING RAIN...ARE
EXPECTED TO FALL FROM SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA NORTHEASTWARD INTO
NORTHWEST WISCONSIN AND NORTHEAST MINNESOTA.

A LITTLE LIGHT SNOW MAY LINGER INTO TUESDAY MORNING...AND THEN
CONTINUE TO MOVE OFF TO THE EAST DURING THE AFTERNOON. LOOK FOR
NORTHWEST WINDS TO BECOME GUSTY LATE TONIGHT INTO
TUESDAY...ESPECIALLY ACROSS NORTH CENTRAL IOWA LATE TONIGHT AND
EARLY TUESDAY.

LOOKING AT THE TEMPERATURES...LOOK FOR LOWS TONIGHT IN THE MID 20S
TO MID 30S. THE HIGH TEMPERATURES TUESDAY WILL BE SET EARLY...IN THE
MID 20S TO MID 30S...WITH TEMPERATURES SLOWLY FALLING AS THE DAY
WEARS ON. THE HIGHS BY THURSDAY WILL THEN RANGE MAINLY IN THE 20S.
