A COLD FRONT PUSHED THROUGH THE UPPER MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY
OVERNIGHT...AND BROUGHT A FEW THUNDERSTORMS TO PARTS OF SOUTHEAST
MINNESOTA AND WESTERN INTO NORTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN. BY
MORNING...SKIES HAD CLEARED AND LOWS VARIED FROM THE UPPER 50S TO
MIDDLE 60S.

FOR TODAY...PLAN ON MOSTLY CLOUDY TO OVERCAST SKIES AS AN UPPER
LEVEL WEATHER SYSTEM DROPS SOUTH ACROSS THE AREA. THERE WILL BE
SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS RAIN SHOWERS AS WELL...MAINLY ACROSS
SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA AND MUCH OF WESTERN AND CENTRAL WISCONSIN. AN
ISOLATED RUMBLE OF THUNDER IS POSSIBLE AS WELL. HIGHS TODAY WILL
BE NOTICEABLY COOLER...ONLY REACHING THE LOWER TO MIDDLE 70S.
WINDS WILL BE OUT OF THE NORTHWEST SUSTAINED 10 TO 15 MPH...WITH
GUSTS OVER 20 MPH AT TIMES.

UNSEASONABLY COOL AIR SETTLES ACROSS THE UPPER MIDWEST TONIGHT
THROUGH MUCH OF THE UPCOMING WORK WEEK. LOWS TONIGHT WILL RANGE
FROM THE UPPER 40S IN CENTRAL WISCONSIN TO LOWER TO MIDDLE 50S IN
SOUTHEAST MINNESOTA AND NORTHEAST IOWA. HIGHS MONDAY AND TUESDAY
WILL TOP OUT IN THE MIDDLE 70S.
