National Weather Service La Crosse WI
416 AM CST Sat Jan 21 2017

Low clouds, fog and some drizzle remained across the Upper
Midwest during the late evening and overnight hours. Much of the
fog was dense with visibilities of 1/2 mile or less over the south
two-thirds of the region, where dense fog advisories were in
effect. An area of light rain was spreading northeast across
parts of Iowa and Minnesota into western Wisconsin. Early morning
temperatures were in the 30s across Minnesota and Wisconsin, to
the mid 40s across southern Iowa.

Fog and patchy drizzle are going to persist across the region
today, especially this morning. The area of light rain is going to
lift across the northwest half of Wisconsin, mainly this morning.
Plenty of low clouds, patchy fog and patchy drizzle will continue
through the afternoon. It is going to remain mild, with highs
ranging from the 30s across Minnesota, to the lower 50s in
northeast Illinois.

Tonight will see continued low clouds and areas of fog across much
of the Upper Midwest. Chances of drizzle are going to persist over
the north half of the region, while some decrease of clouds is
expected over the southwest half of Iowa. Lows across the region
tonight will mainly be in the 30s.

A mild, mostly cloudy to cloudy but drier day is expected across
the area Sunday.
